My name is Claire,

And I’m obsessed with quilting.

My quilting style is colorful; I love using bright solids and busy prints. I love cutting things up small and making them big again. I love collecting fabrics on trips, at thrift stores, and from any LQS I can find along any route. All of my quilts feature sentimental textiles, like my mom’s freshman year dorm bedding, a gifted scrap from a friend’s trip to Japan, or a pillowcase from the flea market in Lisbon on my honeymoon. I am passionate about my craft and want to spread the good word of quilting far and wide!!!

Outside of quilting, I am passionate about chihuahuas, books (namely Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier), New Orleans, shopping sprees (at independently-owned small businesses), annually rewatching Gilmore Girls, stickers, carrot cake, interior design, and Ride the podcast.

I live in Chicago, which is objectively the best place in the world, and I love my life with my husband and my chihuahua. I started quilting in 2024 and I will never look back!
